Curry can now blow out her prayer candles
as she's finally getting a chance to sit
front and center as the co-host of "Today.
"In the first two weeks following the
attacks of September 11, Curry reported
live from ground zero every day.Vieira’s
decision to leave the show is reportedly
all her own. The departure was suspected
last year, when Vieira opted to sign a
one-year contract, rather than something
more long term.
